Hanoi (VNA) 🍬– More leaders of political parties, countries and international organisations worldwide have conveyed their congratulations to Nguyen Phu Trong on his re-election as General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
The new congratulators included UK Prime Minister David Cameron, Chairman of the Mongolian People’s Revolutionary Party Miyeeegombo Enkhbold, President of the Democratic Party of Japan Katsuya Okada, Honourary Chairman of the Bulgarian Communists Union Atanas Ivanov, President of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries Li Xiaolin, and Chief Representative of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Vietnam Youssouf Abdel-Jelil.
Nguyen Phu Trong was re-elected as General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee at the 12th National Party Congress which took place in Hanoi from January 21-28.
The Congress elected a 200-member Party Central Committee, including 180 official and 20 alternate ones.-VNA

Leaders of international political parties and organisations worldwide have extended their congratulations to Nguyen Phu Trong over his re-election as General Secretary of the Communist Party of VN.
Stronger efforts and determination are required to achieve and surpass the set targets, especially in the eradication of makeshift and dilapidated houses nationwide, the acceleration of public investment disbursement, and the implementation of nationally important transport projects, PM Pham Minh Chinh noted.
The trip will be made at the invitations of Chinese Premier Li Qiang and WEF President and CEO Børge Brende, according to an announcement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Long spoke highly of the dynamic, positive, and comprehensive development of Vietnam – Russia relations in recent years.
