– Party General Secretary and State President To Lam on September 13 received Indonesian President-elect Prabowo Subianto, who is paying a working visit to Vietnam.

Expressing his respect for the Vietnam - Indonesia strategic partnership, the host leader congratulated Indonesia on its 79th National Day (August 17, 1945 - 2024) and highly valued the country's recent achievements in socio-economic development as well as active contributions to peace and cooperation in the region and the world. – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has ordered prompt actions be taken to effectively settle the aftermath of Typhoon Yagi, stabilise people’s life, and restore production and business activities to reach the unchanged economic growth target of 7%.

- Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh received Indonesian President-elect Prabowo Subianto in Hanoi on September 14, during which he proposed Indonesia soon sign a rice trade cooperation agreement with Vietnam.

Chinh congratulated Subianto on his election as President of Indonesia for the 2024-2029 term, and welcomed his working visit to Vietnam in the context of the two countries recently celebrating 10 years of the establishment of their strategic partnership, and looking forward to the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations next year. - National Assembly (NA) Chairman Tran Thanh Man on September 14 hosted a reception for Indonesian President-elect Prabowo Subianto, who is on a working visit to Vietnam from September 13-14.

The top legislator congratulated Subianto on his election and said he believes that the Indonesian guest will lead the nation to carve out further achievements, develop prosperously, rise in international stature, and realise its set target of becoming a developed country by 2045, its 100th independence anniversary. – International cooperation is the key to handle damage caused by climate change, ensuring that no one is left behind, Ambassador Mai Phan Dung, Permanent Representative of Vietnam to the United Nations (UN), World Trade Organisation, and other international organisations in Geneva said on September 13.
