Hanoi (VNA) – Member of the National Assembly(NA) Standing Committee and Chairman of its Committee for Legal Affairs NguyenKhac Dinh and Minister of Health Nguyen Thi Kim Tien were relieved from theirposts to assume new duties on November 22.
The parliament held secret ballots on the workas part of the ongoing 8th session in Hanoi.
Up to 94 percent of the legislators present atthe meeting voted for the case of Dinh while 87 percent backed the case ofTien.
The NA also approved two resolutions on the casesof Dinh and Tien which respectively received the support of 100 percent and81.78 percent of the deputies.
Earlier, the Politburo had appointed Dinh asSecretary of the Khanh Hoa provincial Party Committee for the 2015 – 2020tenure.
Meanwhile, Tien had been assigned as head of thecentral board of healthcare services for senior officials./.
The 14th National Assembly passed a resolution approving the comprehensive plan on socio-economic development for ethnic minority groups, disadvantaged and mountainous regions with 89.44 percent of approval, during the ongoing eighth session in Hanoi on November 18.

The National Assembly passed the law amending and supplementing some articles of the Law on Government Organisation and the Law on Local Administration Organisation on November 22 with 89.23 percent approval.
