Hanoi (VNA) –
Legislators met online on May 21– the second working day of the ninth session of the 14th NationalAssembly.

In the morning, they looked into the draft Vietnamborder guard law and the draft revised law on enterprises.

Concluding the discussion on the draft revised law onenterprises, NA Vice Chairman Phung Quoc Hien said the NA’s Standing Committeewill seriously acquire opinions of deputies and instruct compilation andassessment bodies to perfect the draft law before submitting it to thelegislature for approval.

In the afternoon, the lawmakers scrutinised the draftlaw on Vietnamese guest workers with contracts (amended), and the draft lawamending and supplementing some articles of the law on judicial assessment.

They are scheduled to have an online plenary sessionon May 22 morning to debate the draft law on international treaties, the NA supervision programme for 2021, the law and ordinance building programme for2021 and amendments to the law and ordinance building programme in 2020.

On May 22 afternoon, they will discuss the draft lawamending and supplementing some articles of the law on handling administrativeviolations, and amendments to the law onlegal document issuance./.
