Hanoi (VNA) 𒁃– The 43rd session of the 13th National Assembly Standing Committee wrapped up in Hanoi on December 11 under the chair of NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung.

During the three-day event, deputies reviewed the outcomes of the 10th session of the 13th National Assembly and discussed the preparation of the next sitting.
Lawmakers agreed on the necessity of promulgating the draft ordinance on market management to intensify the inspection of domestic market and prevent smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit and low-quality products. They gave opinions on a number of draft resolutions pertaining to working regulations of the NA Standing Committee; an apparatus assisting the National Election Council; the stipulation of tasks and organisation of the NA Office and Secretariat.
Deputies also gave feedback on the Government’s report on the promulgation of financial and personnel management mechanism for taxation and customs agencies in the 2016-2020 period. The NA Standing Committee adopted the revision and supplementation of some articles to Resolution 712/2013/UBTVQH13 on natural resource tax. Participants also discussed the management spending for the Vietnam Social Insurance along with the negotiation and exchange of diplomatic notes on visa granting between Vietnam and the US.-VNA
