NA to consider adopting six bills at seventh session

Hanoi (VNA) – The National Assemblywill mull over the adoption of six bills at the seventh session to be opened onMay 20, 2019.

At the ongoing 29th session of the NA StandingCommittee in Hanoi on December 11, deputies gave opinions on the preparationfor the seventh session which will last for about 20 days.

The six bills include the revised laws on education,tax management, enforcement of criminal judgments, the law on architecture, thelaw on amending and supplementing some articles of the Law on Public Investment,the law on preventing and combating harmful effects of alcohol and beer, and adraft resolution on the law and ordinance development programme in 2020.

Lawmakers will deliberate other nine daff laws.

Besides socio-economic issues, the NA willsupervise the implementation of policies and laws on land planning, managementand use in urban areas since the Land Law 2013 took effect to the end of 2018.

NA Secretary General and Chairman of the NA’sOffice Nguyen Hanh Phuc directed relevant agencies to continue proposingsolutions to improve the quality of the session.

During the morning working session, the NAStanding Committee evaluated the outcome of implementing external activitiesand international cooperation in 2018 and approved the external affairsprogramme in 2019.-VNA
