NA to vote on several laws on last working day of seventh session

The 14th National Assembly will vote to pass several laws and resolutions on the last working day of the seventh session in Hanoi on June 14.

Hanoi (VNA)
– The 14th NationalAssembly will vote to pass several laws and resolutions on the last working dayof the seventh session in Hanoi on June 14.

They include the revised Law on Enforcement of CriminalJudgements, the Law on revising and supplementing some articles of the Law on InsuranceBusiness and Law on Intellectual Property, the revised Education Law, and the lawon alcohol harm prevention.

Legislators will also vote to adopt a resolutionapproving Vietnam’s accession to Convention 98 of the International LabourOrganisation (ILO) on the application of principles of the right to organiseand bargain collectively, and another on the establishment of the legislature’sthematic supervision delegation in 2020.

During the closing meeting in the afternoon, tobe broadcast live on national TV and radio, lawmakers will vote to pass aresolution on the results of thematic supervision on the implementation ofpolicies and legal regulations on planning, management and use of land in urbanareas since the 2013 Land Law took effect to 2018, a resolution onquestion-and-answer (Q&A) activity  and a resolution of the seventh workingsession.
