Hanoi (VNA) - Vietnam’s top tennis player Ly Hoang Nam has dropped seven places from world No 862 to No 869 in💫 the late🗹st ATP rankings.

Nam fell due to his recent defeat to Indonesia’s Christopher Rungkat in the first round of the Men’s Futures F2 in the southern province of Binh Duong. In the men’s doubles rankings, thanks to making the Men’s Futures F2’s semi-final, Nam rose up 306 steps to world No 1332 and Nguyen Hoang Thien increased 219 steps to world No 1319. Nam was the first Vietnamese tennis player to win a Grand Slam title after he won the boys’ doubles final at the 2015 Wimbledon Championships.-VNA
