The eight session of the 14th National Assembly (NA) will open at the NA Hall in Hanoi on October 21.

Hanoi (VNA) – The eight session of the 14th NationalAssembly (NA) will open at the NA Hall in Hanoi on October 21.

According to the schedule, NA members will pay floral tributes to President HoChi Minh at his mausoleum before gathering at the preparatory meeting todiscuss and adopt the agenda of the session in the morning.

The opening ceremony will take place at the NA Hall at 9:00, and be broadcastlive on national television and radio.

The eighth session will conclude on November 27. The legislature will focustheir work on making laws and deciding socio-economic affairs, State budget,supervision and other important issues, including question-and-answer sessions.

Over the recent past, the NA’s Standing Committee, the Government, the NACouncil of Ethnic Minority, NA Committees, NA delegations, parliamentarians,and competent organisations and individuals have made meticulous preparationfor the contents to be submitted to the NA./.
