Hanoi (VNA) – The Politburo on December9 held a national conference on the implementation of the Party Central Committee's conclusion andregulation on Party building andrectification.

The virtual conference was organised under the chair ofParty General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. It also saw the attendance ofPolitburo members, including President Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Prime Minister Pham MinhChinh, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and permanent member of the Party Central Committee's Secretariat Vo Van Thuong.

Implementing the Resolution adopted at the 13th National Party Congress, the fourth plenum of the Party Central Committee agreedto issue a conclusion on stepping up the building and rectification of theParty and the political system.

The conclusion emphasised the resolve to prevent anddrive back degradation in ideology, morality and lifestyle, and the phenomenaof “self-evolution” and “self-transformation” within the Party, and strictly handleofficials and Party members who commit violations.

A new regulation on things that Party members are notallowed to do has also been issued.

To well implement the conclusion and regulation, thePolitburo has rolled out an implementation plan.

The conference is set to disseminate major contentsof the fourth plenum of the 13th Party Central Committee and theimplementation plan, in order to create high consensus in both awareness and actionin the entire Party./.
