The National Conference on Sustainable Development will be held in Hanoi on September 12 with three key topics namely, sharing economy, public-private cooperation and human resource development.

Hanoi (VNA) - The National Conference on Sustainable Developmentwill be held in Hanoi on September 12 with three key topics, namely sharingeconomy, public-private cooperation and human resource development.
The event is held by the National Council for Sustainable Development andCompetitiveness Improvement in coordination with the Vietnam Chamber ofCommerce and Industry (VCCI) and the World Bank, the Vietnam Government Portal(VGP) reported.
Participants, including Government leaders and business representatives, areexpected to discuss aspects of sustainable development to help Vietnam achievethe Agenda 2030 goals in the next decade.
The proposals of the conference will serve as input for the Government to designthe 2021-2030 socio-economic development strategy./.
According to the fourth annual report on the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), Vietnam ranks 54th, up three notches against 2018.

A hub for sharing best practices, the event aims to forge solutions for financial sustainability, public media contracts, audience engagement, content innovation, and newsroom restructuring. It is also a moment for Vietnam’s media to accelerate its progress and figure out what the “revolutionary press” means in a new era.
From “Thanh nien”, Vietnam’s first revolutionary newspaper founded by Nguyen Ai Quoc (later President Ho Chi Minh) on June 21, 1925, the revolutionary press has remained devoted to its sacred missions -accompanying the nation, serving the Fatherland, and working for the people.
