Hanoi (VNA)– The fifth Vietnam International Conference and Exhibition on Control andAutomation (VCCA 2019) opened in Hanoi on September 4.
The event features 200 pavilions established by hundreds of businesses fromVietnam and foreign countries such as Japan, the Republic of Korea (RoK),Thailand, China and Malaysia.
On display are new and high-tech products in smart lighting and agriculture, energy,transport and supporting industry.
There is also a space to support young researchers who have ambitions to launchtheir own startups.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc urged the Saigon Hi-tech Park (SHTP) to develop itself into a Silicon Valley in the region during a ceremony marking its 15th founding anniversary in Ho Chi Minh City.
Three international high-tech conferences will be held in Ho Chi Minh City to promote cooperation in researching, developing and commercialising high-tech products, said representatives from the Saigon High-tech Park (SHTP) on August 15.
Since its inception, the Saigon Hi-Tech Park has become an incubator for innovation and a centre for technology transfer in Ho Chi Minh City and the southern region.
The course aims to promote knowledge exchange between scientific and educational schools from different countries, while deepening participants’ expertise in modern technology and technical education. It comprises two main specialisations of electronics-automation and nuclear technology.
ANTARA and VNA can design global-scale cooperation programmes or joint media campaigns, demonstrating the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Indonesia, as well as the cooperation between the two national news agencies.
As Vietnam’s digital transformation accelerates, both the frequency and severity of cyberattacks are growing. Over the past three decades, Binh Duong has cemented its status as one of Vietnam’s most dynamic industrial hubs, building a robust foundation in manufacturing, exports, and investment. The province now has 30 operational industrial parks spanning over 13,000 hectares, with an occupancy rate exceeding 90%.
