HCM City (VNA) — A new method of blended learning, which combinesclassroom and online learning, helps Vietnamese students access standard highschool education programmes in the US and Canada.
The method is being used at Apax Franklin Academy’s new flagship campus in HCMCity’s District 3, which officially opened on March 16.
The school has opened another flagship campus in Hanoi.
The programmes of Blyth Academy, a partner of Apax Franklin Academy, are partof the Ontario-based curriculum that uses experiential blended-learning and issupported by Vietnamese coaches.
The academic expectations at Apax Franklin Academy are the same as all otherBlyth Academy schools in Canada, the US, Qatar and Italy.
David Hooser, president of Franklin Virtual School and founder and chairman ofthe Franklin Group in the US, said: “In the context of Industry 4.0, educationis no longer confined to a physical framework.”
The use of technology in teaching and the emergence of mobile learningtechnologies, big data, IoT (Internet of Things), and AI (ArtificialIntelligence) has opened up opportunities to access advanced learning methodsand knowledge from the world’s leading education institutions in Vietnam,Hooser said.-VNA
