Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam’s Nguyen Tat ThanhUniversity and Yeungjin University of the Republic of Korea (RoK) have coordinatedto open a training course designed to meet requirements of Samsung VietnamCompany. Two majors provided in the one–year course are MouldManufacturing and Programming Applied Electronics, with 20 students holdingundergraduate degree on Mechanics and Electronics recruited for each major. During the first six months, students will receivetheoretical lessons given by lecturers from Yeungjin University. They will takeinternship at Samsung Vietnam Company during the last six months. After graduation, students will be granted certificates byYeungjin University and given chances to work at Samsung Vietnam without beingre-trained. Those who are not eligible to work in Samsung Vietnam willbe introduced to other RoK enterprises in Vietnam.-VNA
Samsung Electronics said at a seminar in Ho Chi Minh City on September 9 that it expects more Vietnamese enterprises could join its global supply chain in the future.
