Officials share joy with religious communities in Xmas season in HCM City
Officials from the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee, the Ministry of Home Affairs and Vietnam Government Committee for Religious Affairs visited religious establishments in Ho Chi Minh City on December 15 to offer Christmas and New Year greetings.

HCM City (VNA) – Officials from the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee,the Ministry of Home Affairs and Vietnam Government Committee for ReligiousAffairs visited religious establishments in Ho Chi Minh Cityon December 15 to offer Christmas and New Year greetings.
At the Seventh-Day Adventist Church based inPhu Nhuan district, VFF Vice President and Secretary General Le Tien Chau wished the head of the church, Pastor Tran Thanh Truyen, and followers a happy andpeaceful Christmas season.
He thanked the church and its leaders as well as followers for always accompanying the nation, complying with the law and actively joining patriotic movements held by the VFF and the Government.

The official wished that the church will continue actively joining social activities and national patrioticmovements, contributing to building a great national unity and improving people’slives.
Chau later visited the Vietnam Baptist Churchand conveyed best wishes to the church's President - Pastor Nguyen Vo Khanh Giam.
The same day, DeputyMinister of Home Affairs Vu Chien Thang also visited and extended wishes to the Seventh-Day Adventist.

Politburo member and Vice Chairman of the National Assembly (NA) Tran Thanh Man on December 15 extended his Christmas and New Year greetings to Catholic in Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta province of Tien Giang’s My Tho city.
Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and head of the Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilisation, wished Catholics in the Diocese of Xuan Loc in the southern province of Dong Nai a merry Christmas during a visit to the diocese's bishop office on December 20.
