The passengers include the elderly, peoplewith underlying conditions and those in extremely disadvantaged circumstances.
♓ The embassy sent its staff to the airport to help the citizens with necessaryprocedures for the flight.
In-flight safety and preventive measuresagainst the COVID-19 pandemic were rigorously enforced to protect thepassengers’ health and prevent the spread of the disease. All passengers and crew members receivedmedical check-ups and were sent to quarantine in line with regulations uponarrival at Hanoi’s Noi Bai Airport. The repatriation of Vietnamese citizens indisadvantaged circumstances abroad will continue to be conducted in line withcitizens’ wishes, the development of the COVID-19 pandemic andquarantine capacity in Vietnam./.
Close to 290 Vietnamese citizens were flown home safely from Malaysia on a flight of national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines on November 3, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
More than 320 Vietnamese citizens in Germany and the Netherlands were brought home safely aboard a Vietnam Airlines flight on November 6 and 7 thanks to the collaboration between authorities of Vietnam and the two European countries.
