More than 340 Vietnamese citizens returned to Vietnam from Taiwan (China) on a flight of Vietnam Airlines on May 29.

Hanoi, (VNA)🐓 – More than 340 Vietnamese citizens returnedto Vietnam from Taiwan (China) on a flight of Vietnam Airlines on May 29.

The flight was arranged by Vietnamese agencies, the VietnamEconomic-Cultural Office in Taipei and Taiwanese agencies to bring Vietnamesecitizens who were stuck in Taiwan in especially disadvantaged circumstances backhome. Passengers on the flight included under-18 students, elderlypeople, pregnant women, people with illnesses, labourers whose workingcontracts had ended and visitors whose visas had expired.

After the flight landed in Da Nang, all people on the flightwere given medical check and put into quarantine in line with regulations.

🤪 Implementing the Prime Minister’s instruction, Vietnamese agencies, Vietnameserepresentative agencies abroad and domestic airlines will continue to conductflights to bring overseas Vietnamese citizens back to Vietnam, based on thedomestic epidemic situation, the wish of the citizens and the capacity of domesticquarantine facilities./.
