– Vietnamese Ambassador to Germany Doan Xuan Hung has expressed his wish that the overseas Vietnam🤪ese community in the country will always stay together to contribute more to the Vietnam-Germany ties.

Visiting several OV groups in Berlin on January 1on the occasion of the New Year 2016, Hung highlighted President Truong Tan Sang’s State visit to Germany in 2015 as the first by a Vietnamese State leader to the country since the two nations established their diplomatic ties 40 years ago.
During the meetings between President Sang and German leaders, the hosts praised the significant contributions the OV community in Germany has made to the their country’s prosperity, Hung said.
The Vietnamese diplomat also called on OVs to continue serving as a bridge to facilitate the Vietnam-Germany cooperation. Representatives from Vietnamese enterprises and organisations in Germany also pledged to exert more efforts to foster the strategic partnership between the two nations.-VNA
