Binh Duong (VNA) - Chairman of the People's Committee of BinhDuong province Vo Van Minh and representatives of local departments and sectors had a dialogue with local people and businesses after the southern provinceannounced the return to the new normal after a period of imposition of socialdistancing measures to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
More than 4,000 questions from people and businesses sent toprovincial leaders of Binh Duong province focused on difficulties facing themduring the new normal such as travel between regions, medical work,online learning, business and employment.
Minh said that after returning to the new normal, for sealed-offareas, social distancing measures will be applied for additional 5-7 days.
The province will not let anyone lack food or clothing, he said,adding that to date 3.1 million locals have received aid from both local andcentral support packages with an amount of 1.74 trillion VND (76.4 million USD).
Nguyen Hong Chuong, Director of the provincial HealthDepartment, emphasised that during the new normal, people must still complywith pandemic prevention and control regulations.
He affirmed that the health sector is consolidating itssystem from the grassroots to provincial levels with the goal of bringinghealthcare closer to the people and providing better care.
The Chairman of the provincial People's Committee reiteratedthat the entire political system and people need to join the fight.
