Party Central Committee extends greetings to LPRP on founding anniversary
The Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee (CPVCC) has sent a message of congratulations to the Central Committee of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) on the occasion of the 65th founding anniversary of the LPRP (March 22).

Hanoi (VNA) – The Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee (CPVCC) hassent a message of congratulations to the Central Committee of the Lao People’sRevolutionary Party (LPRP) on the occasion of the 65th founding anniversary ofthe LPRP (March 22).
Inthe message, the CPVCC has lauded the sound leadership of the LPRP over thepast 65 years, especially during the 35-year reform.
Theachievements the Lao Party has recorded not only hold significance to nationalconstruction, defence and development in Laos, but also serve as a great sourceof encouragement to the Vietnamese Party, State and people, the message said.
TheParty, State and people of Vietnam believe that their Lao counterparts willreap greater attainments in the reform process, successfully building a Laos ofpeace, independence, democracy, unity and prosperity.
Themessage of congratulations highlighted recent important achievements made bythe Party, State and people of the two countries, as well as the flourishingfriendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnamand Laos.
It said that the bilateral relationship has constantly being deepened acrossfields, contributing to the national construction and safeguard in each nation.
On the occasion, the Vietnamese Party, State and people expressed their sincerethanks for great and valuable support provided by the Lao side for Vietnamduring its struggle for national liberation in the past, and in national buildingand safeguarding at present.
Vietnam’s Party, State and people will work closely together with the Party,State and people of Laos to further foster the Vietnam-Laos special solidarity,for the sake of the two countries’ people, and for peace, stability,cooperation in the region and the world, the message said./.
Vietnam and Laos should step up the sharing of legislative experience and promote locality-to-locality collaboration in 2020 in addition to increasing the exchange of delegations at all levels, said a top legislator.
Politburo member and Minister of Public Security To Lam has affirmed that the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security will do its best to further comprehensive cooperation with Lao counterparts to meet demand in the new situation.

The country is willing to participate in collective efforts to promote cooperation and mobilise resources to advance the current priority issues of developing countries, such as trade, investment, infrastructure connectivity, making the most of scientific and technological advances for development, and people-to-people exchanges, Hang said.
During the negotiations, the US highly evaluated Vietnam’s goodwill and efforts, affirmed its appreciation for the bilateral relationship, acknowledged Vietnam’s proposals and concerns, and considered these an important basis for continuing discussions and moving towards a final agreement.
The Chairman stressed the need for stricter fiscal discipline, faster digital transformation, and more efficient management of State budget revenues and expenditures.
The ministry has instructed Vietnamese representative agencies in Israel, Iran, as well as those in neighbouring countries, to closely monitor the situation and request local authorities to ensure absolute safety for Vietnamese citizens living, studying, and working in high-risk areas.
