Hanoi (VNA) – PartyGeneral Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong lauded the visit by Secretary of theCommunist Party of Cuba (CPC) Central Committee and head of the CPC CentralCommittee’s Department of External Relations Jose Ramon Balaguer during areception in Hanoi on May 24.
Trong told his guest thatreciprocal visits by high-ranking Party and State leaders and increasedeconomic, trade and people-to-people exchange over the past years are vividmanifestation of the exemplary fraternal ties, traditional friendship,comprehensive cooperation and loyal solidarity between the two Parties, Statesand peoples.
The special relationship betweenthe two Parties and nations is an invaluable asset that is always maintained,protected, fostered and handed down to young generations, he said.

Jose Ramon Balaguer, who is inVietnam for the third theoretical seminar between the Communist Party ofVietnam (CPV) and CPC, expressed his belief that Vietnam will continue reapingmore successes in the implementation of resolutions adopted by the 12thNational Party Congress.
