Party chief presents 45-year Party membership badge to Tran Quoc Vuong

Hanoi (VNA)𒈔 – Party General Secretary To Lam presented the 45-year Party membership badge to former Politburo member and former permanent member of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee Tran Quoc Vuong, and 40- and 30-year badges to some others, at a ceremony in Hanoi on November 28.
Lam congratulated Vuong on the honour, stressing that this is a noble distinction of the Party recognising his dedication and significant contributions to the revolutionary cause of both the Party and the nation.
In his various positions, Vuong consistently excelled in fulfilling his assignments, making important contributions to building and safeguarding the political and legal foundations and ensuring the successful implementation of the Party's political missions, Lam said.
Vuong also made significant contributions to the fight against corruption and other negative phenomena, helping to strengthen public trust in the Party, he added.
The awardees have a long working history in many agencies and units, and they have always maintained the title of communists and performed well their tasks, he said.
The Party leader expressed his belief that with their extensive experience, broad vision, and unwavering dedication, they will continue to contribute to the cause of the Party, State, and country and reform efforts in the coming time.
For his part, Vuong said the badge is a recognition of the efforts of Party members, and it also is both an honour and a reminder to them of their responsibility to strive and improve themselves further, and continue contributing to the Party's cause.
He said he believes that in the face of crucial issues, the Party always makes correct decisions with strong political will, to steer the country toward stability and development. Vuong also affirmed his absolute loyalty to the Party's ideals, vowing to continue striving to live up to the title of a member of the CPV./.
State President Luong Cuong presented a 30-year Party membership badge to Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan at a ceremony in Hanoi on November 7, in recognition of her dedication to the revolutionary cause, and national construction and defence.
Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Delegation to the National Assembly and Chairman of the National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue was honoured with the 40-year Party membership badge during a ceremony in Hanoi on March 11.
General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong was awarded the 55-year Party membership badge at a ceremony in Hanoi on February 2.
