Shehailed contributions by local Catholic priests and followers to thebuilding of new-style rural areas in their residential areas and theprevention of crime in their dioceses.
The official reiteratedthe Party and State’s consistent policy of respecting people’s faith andreligious freedom and facilitating religious followers’ participationin social activities.
She expressed her belief that they willuphold patriotism and follow the teachings “Living the Gospel amidst thenation” and practically contribute to promoting the national greatsolidarity.
Meanwhile, Archbishop Le Van Hong committed tocontinuing to encourage Catholic dignitaries and followers to observethe Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws as well asleading a good secular and religious life.
