Party official holds online talks with Cuban counterpart

Hanoi, (VNA) – Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission forExternal Relations Le Hoai Trung held an online talk with his Cuban counterpartEmilio Lozada Garcia on February 28.
Thetwo officials took the occasion to brief each other on the situations of theirrespective parties and countries, and compare note on international andregional issues of mutual concern.
They reviewed the cooperation between the two commissions in therecent past and discussed the orientations and main focuses in the ties betweenthe two parties and their commissions in 2023.
Thetwo sides agreed to continue working closely together in organizing visits byhigh-level delegations between the two parties and countries, and perform welltheir advisory roles in the implementation of high-level agreements between thetwo parties and countries, contributing to strengthening the foundation of thepolitical relationship between the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and theCommunist Party of Cuba (CPC), and boosting the development of thecomprehensive cooperation between the two countries.
They pledged to coordinate closely to effectively realise theoutcomes of the talks between General Secretary of the CPV Central Committee NguyenPhu Trong and First Secretary of the CPC Central Committee Miguel Díaz-Canel.
The two sides also agreed to increase the exchange ofinformation on regional and international situation, support each other inexpanding their parties’ relations in Latin America and Asia, and coordinate inmultilateral forums of political parties and international conferences.
The Cuban Party official stressed that the relations between theCPV and the CPC, and between Cuba and Vietnam are the symbol of the era, andexpressed his firm belief that Vietnam will gain even greater achievements inthe future.

Trung affirmed his belief that Cuba will surmount the currentdifficulties and emphasized that Vietnam always support the just revolutionarycause of the party, State and people of Cuba./.

NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man stressed the need to accelerate the application of artificial intelligence and smart teaching equipment, innovate teaching and assessment methods, and further improve the quality of formal education.
He also pledged that the NA will promote its ongoing supervision, making sure that every promise must lead to results, and every commitment must bring about real changes.
