People’s Police Academy inaugurates e-library

Hanoi (VNA) – ThePeople’s Police Academy inaugurated its e-library – a joint project with theKorea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), during a ceremony in Hanoi onDecember 12.

Speaking at the event, DeputyMinister of Public Security Bui Van Nam thanked the Republic of Korea (RoK) governmentand KOICA for assisting Vietnamese police in many fields, especially in the project,which started on January 12, 2015.

He expressed his wish that theMinistry of Public Security and the People’s Police Academy would continuereceiving support from the RoK government and KOICA in the future.

Minister and Consul General ParkSang-shik said over the past three years, the Korean government has worked toimprove information use by the Ministry of Public Security and the People’sPolice Academy in particular.

The RoK government alwaystreasures ties with Vietnam and will offer continued support to the country’s economicdevelopment, Park affirmed.

The project costs 2.3 million USDin non-refundable aid from the RoK government and 3 billion VND (130,000 USD) fromVietnam./.
