Hanoi (VNA)🌠 – Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte November 2 conductedan aerial inspection of damage caused by typhoon Goni, the strongest hitting the countrysince 2020 that claimed 16 lives and left three others missing.

Spokesman ofthe President Harry Roque said Duterte boarded a flight from Davao town in thesouth of the Philippines to Manila capital to inspect the hardest-hit areas. As of November2 morning, the typhoon affected 2.1 million residents on Luzon island, causing a loss of 23 million USD.  Another stormcalled Atsani is becoming stronger in the Pacific and moving to the country./.
