PM agrees to reopen President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum from Aug 15
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc agreed to reopen the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to visitors from August 15 during a working session in Hanoi on August 14 with its management board.

Hanoi (VNA)ꦺ – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phucagreed to reopen the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to visitors from August 15during a working session in Hanoi on August 14 with its management board.
Due tothe complicated developments of COVID-19 pandemic, the mausoleum has been shutdown. The boardalso conducted periodic preservation of the work from June 15 – August 14. Speaking atthe working session, PM Phuc asked the board to continue refining itsmanagement model during the 2021-2025 period and fulfill assigned tasks. It wasalso required to work closely with the ministries of national defence, publicsecurity, culture-sports and tourism to ensure security and safety in the areain combination with pandemic prevention and control. PM Phucalso gave his opinions on the board’s several proposals, including cooperationwith Russia during 2016-2020 and discussions on the signing of 2021-2025 cooperationplan with the Russian Research Institute of Medicinal and AromaticPlants./.
German journalist Hellmut Kapfenberger on June 30 presented his newly-published book on late President Ho Chi Minh to Vietnamese Ambassador to Germany Nguyen Minh Vu.

It has fulfilled five specific objectives and five five-year goals, and met nine out of 12 indicators related to addressing basic social service shortages.

At a review conference held on June 21, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh praised the province’s scientific, coordinated, and flexible approach. He noted that the early completion reflects the strong commitment of local authorities, the business community, philanthropists, and residents in improving housing conditions for disadvantaged groups.
