PM congratulates journalists on Revolutionary Press Day
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc visited veteran journalists in Ho Chi Minh City on June 18 ahead of the 94th Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21).

HCM City (VNA) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phucvisited veteran journalists in Ho Chi Minh City on June 18 ahead of the 94thVietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21).
He visited and presented gifts to journalistsNguyen Thi Hang Nga – former Chairwoman of the HCM City JournalistsAssociation, Ma Dieu Cuong – former Chairman of the HCM City JournalistsAssociation and former Deputy Director General of the HCM City Television, and NguyenTrong Xuat – former Chief of the Office of the municipal Party Committee andChairman of the city’s resistance war tradition club.
The PM also visited Meritorious Artist NguyenThanh Dinh, author of many articles about music.
Congratulating the journalists on the VietnamRevolutionary Press Day, PM Phuc said the Party and State acknowledge theirdedication to the revolutionary press, which has contributed to nationaldevelopment and defence.
The leader expressed his hope that they willcontinue upholding the revolutionary spirit to make more contributions to thecity and the country, while instilling the revolutionary press tradition intoyounger generations.
Participating journalists appreciated the PM’sencouragement and promised to uphold the tradition and educate the young onthis to help with local and national development.
On this occasion, the Government leader alsoextended the best wishes to journalists nationwide and called on them to keeptheir political steadfastness and occupational ethics, step up communicationsabout role models, and fight negative phenomena.
PM Phuc added that the revolutionary press must make righteousand timely news updates, refute wrongful information, and encourage people tocontribute to national development.
Also on June 18, a meeting took place in Hanoito update the media about press activities and to mark the 94th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day. It was held by the PartyCentral Committee’s Information and Education Commission, the Ministry ofInformation and Communications, the Vietnam Journalists Association, and theVietnam Television.
At this event, Deputy PM Vu Duc Dam alsocongratulated journalists across the country and highly valued their devotion.He expressed his belief that with their 94-year tradition, Vietnamesejournalists will overcome difficulties and challenges to fulfil theirduties.-VNA
A refresher course for journalists on reporting about the conservation and rescue of wild animals began in the northern province of Vinh Phuc on May 21.

Today, the press for foreign service has evolved into a distinct, irreplaceable force, bridging Vietnam with the world and portraying a nation that is stable, peace-loving, and fully integrated into the international community.
At a review conference held on June 21, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh praised the province’s scientific, coordinated, and flexible approach. He noted that the early completion reflects the strong commitment of local authorities, the business community, philanthropists, and residents in improving housing conditions for disadvantaged groups.

Granma and the VNA have great potential for cooperation, especially in sharing content regularly, so that VNA products are published on Granma platforms and vice versa, thereby helping Cuban and Vietnamese people access true information and gain a deep understanding of each other's country and people.
