PM gives nod to sustainable green growth project

Hanoi (VNA) – The Prime Minister has approved a project on social objectives insustainable green growth in Vietnam, using the non-refundable officialdevelopment assistance (ODA) from the German government.

The projectincludes three main components, with the first focusing on methods and skillson social impact assessment (SIA) to improve the capacity of the Ministry ofLabour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA) and relevant agencies.

The second one isto strengthen the role of the MoLISA and relevant agencies in conducting theSIA.

The third componentaims to improve the knowledge and understanding of the MoLISA and relevantagencies about social factors in realising sustainable green goals.

⛄ The MoLISA is responsiblefor carrying out the project, which has an investment capital of 3.8 million EUR,including 3.6 million EUR from the German government’s ODA.-VNA
