The Government leader made the point at the inauguration on March 9 ofa training course for local senior military officers at the Hanoi-basedInstitute of National Defence .

“Education in national defence and security is of primary importanceand practical significance, helping improve officers’ leadership andstrategic thoughts in building an all-people national defence systemincorporated with all-people security,” he emphasised.

He noted with satisfaction that the institute, with 30 years ofexperience in training senior military officers, has earned itsreputation as a national leader in education, training and research onmilitary arts, thus considerably contributing to national constructionand defence./.
