Bucharest, (VNA) 💝– Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc expressed his wish forstronger partnership between localities of Vietnamand Romania during his visitto Prahova, a county with dynamic economic development in Romania, onApril 14 (local time).
At a working session with Prahova’s governor Ioana Madalina Lupea, theVietnamese PM highlighted the ties between several pairs of localities of thetwo countries, such as the memorandum of understanding signed between Hoa Binhand Prahova, Ben Tre and Tulchea, Da Nang and Timisoara, and Lao Cai andHunedoara. Phuc said there is great potential for cooperation between Prahova and Vietnameseprovinces, particularly in fields where the Romanian locality is strong in,such as tourism, education-training, oil and gas, agriculture and forestry,which coincide with the priorities in Vietnam’s cooperation with Romania. Governor IoanaMadalina Lupea welcomed the Vietnamese PM to the county, and informed her guestthat the county’s authorities have coordinated with the Chamber of Commerce andthe Vietnamese Embassy in Romaniato organize business workshops and meetings to introduce Prahova’s strength andopportunities for economic, tourism, education partnership as well as culturalexchange to Vietnamese firms and localities. She affirmed that Prahova wanted toexpand its cooperation with Vietnamese localities.
