PM’s Special Envoy pays official visit to Nicaragua
The Special Envoy of the Vietnamese Prime Minister, Pham Sanh Chau, and Nicaraguan Foreign Minister Denis Moncada Colindres discussed measures to consolidate the two countries’ relationship on May 24.

Hanoi (VNA) – The Special Envoy of the VietnamesePrime Minister, Pham Sanh Chau, and Nicaraguan Foreign Minister Denis MoncadaColindres discussed measures to consolidate the two countries’ time-honouredrelationship at their meeting in the Central American country on May 24.
Speaking after the meeting, Colindres affirmed Nicaragua’ssupport for Chau’s candidacy for the post of General-Director of the UnitedNations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO),international news agencies reported.
Chau expressed his pride of the bilateral friendship, sayingthat it is time for the two countries to foster the ties in various fields,especially economy and trade.
He also conveyed the Vietnamese leaders’ invitations tovisit Vietnam to Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega and Vice President RosarioMurillo.
Also on the day, Chau met with leaders of the NationalEducation Commission of Nicaragua.-VNA
A delegation led by Chairman of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Foreign Relations Hoang Binh Quan visited Nicaragua from July 19 – 22 at the invitation of the ruling Sandinista National Liberation Front Party (FSLN).

NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man stressed the need to accelerate the application of artificial intelligence and smart teaching equipment, innovate teaching and assessment methods, and further improve the quality of formal education.
