Politburo holds meeting with former Party officials

Hanoi (VNA) – The Politburo and the Party Central Committee’s Secretariathosted a gathering in Hanoi on February 27 with former members of the 12th Politburo, the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat and Party CentralCommittee.
Chairing the event, Party General Secretary and State President Nguyen PhuTrong said the Politburo and Secretariat highly value the great contributions thatthe former officials have made to the Party, people and country during the timethey held important positions in central and local agencies.
He highlighted that the country had reaped comprehensive achievements lastyear. The entire Party, people and army stood united and fulfilled the working programmefor the tenure.
Afterthe 13th National Party Congress, the people have demonstrated theirtrust in the Party’s leadership and the country’s future, despite the impact ofthe pandemic.
♑ The Party chief wished that the former Party officials will continue to makecontributions to the Party, people and nation, and lend their experience inaddressing important issues of the country.

Participants expressed their belief that the 13th Politburo,Secretariat and Party Central Committee will lead the country to a higherdevelopment level in the near future.
