Preferential loan packages offered for women in remote areas

Yen Bai (VNA)൲ – Home Credit on March 8 officially launched the project “Home for Life” to offer free-interest loans to women in remote areas in the northern mountainous province of Yen Bai.

According to the provincial Women’s Association, the finance company sponsors funding for the association which will lend disadvantaged women, mostly from ethnic groups, loans with an interest rate of 0%. The loans are expected to help the women cover essential spending like house repairs, tuition fees for their children, and breeding/seedlings for production. Besides loans, the women will receive training courses in personal finance management, making spending plans, and production skills.  Pham Thi Bich Lien, head of the Marketing Operations and Sustainable Development Department of Home Credit Vietnam, said that women are one of the priority beneficiaries of support in the National Financial Inclusion Strategy for 2025 with a vision to 2030. 

For the reason, the company focuses on expanding projects to support disadvantaged women and offering them opportunities to access reliable capital.
