Presidential Office requested to uphold strong sense of responsibility

Hanoi (VNA) – ꦦState President Luong Cuong has requested the Presidential Office to uphold a strong sense of responsibility, solidarity, and close coordination with agencies, ministries, sectors, and localities to effectively advise the President and Vice President in implementing established programmes and plans to propel the country to a new era – the era of the nation’s rise.
At a working session with the office on June 26, President Cuong acknowledged and praised the office’s advisory role in facilitating the state leaders’ decisions for timely recognition of standout collectives and individuals at important events, supporting rewards for organisational restructuring and streamlining of the political apparatus, and implementing the two-tier local administration model.
The President also identified certain limitations in advisory work that require continued innovation and quality improvement to meet state leadership requirements. The office, he said, will face mounting challenges tied to the implementation of new governance structures and heavy workloads, stressing the need for greater flexibility and responsiveness in programme development.

The leader highlighted that the office must actively monitor the situation, conducting research, and making preparations to provide timely substantive advice, ensuring work progress and quality in serving the Party and State leaders.
President Cuong underscored the upcoming rollout of the two-tier local administration model on July 1, the ongoing preparations for the 14th National Party Congress, and major national celebrations, including the 78th War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day on July 27 and the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the 80th National Day on September 2.
💎 It is necessary to bolster domestic and external activities by the President and Vice President to provide timely direction and encouragement to ministries, sectors, localities, cadres, and people from all social strata during the transformative period, he said. The President urged the office to develop specific work programmes with clear task assignments, promoting close coordination within and outside the agency while fostering individual responsibility among all personnel./.
The programme to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses has achieved notable results, with nearly 263,000 housing units addressed to date, including 225,000 houses inaugurated and 38,000 under construction. Thirty-eight provinces and cities across the nation have already fulfilled their targets.
The reforms included the NA’s resolution on the amendments and supplements to several articles of the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the revised Law on Organisation of Local Government, and the ordinance amending and supplementing Article 10 of the Population Ordinance.
The apparatus reorganisation must assure smooth operation of organisations and agencies and avoid disruptions to the activities of the Party, administrations, citizens, and businesses, President Luong Cuong told officials of the two provinces.
