Hanoi (VNA) –𝔉 Delegates to the 12th National Party Congress cast their ballots to elect members to the 12th Party Central Committee in Hanoi on the morning of January 26.

The working session was chaired by Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, who is also President of the Presidium.
The vote counting board counted the ballots, and in the afternoon, announced the results and the list of the new Party Central Committee. The afternoon working session took place under the chair of Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung. The Congress voted for the report on the outcomes of the voting for the 12 th Party Central Committee.
Politburo member and Secretary of the Party Central Committee Dinh The Huynh, who is also head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Information and Education, presented a report on acquiring delegates’ feedback on the 12 th National Party Congress’s draft documents. Delegates voted on several issues mentioned in the documents. The Congress will be off on January 27, as the 12 th Party Central Committee is scheduled to convene its first meeting to elect the Political Bureau, the Party General Secretary, the Secretariat, the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Inspection and the head of the Commission.-VNA
