Prime Minister appoints new deputy ministers

The Prime Minister has recently issued decisions on the appointment of new Deputy Foreign Minister and Deputy Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs.

Hanoi (VNA) – The Prime Minister has recentlyissued decisions on the appointment of new Deputy Foreign Minister and DeputyMinister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs. 

Under Decision No.1187/QD-TTg, head of the ForeignMinistry’s Foreign Policy Department Nguyen Minh Vu was appointed as DeputyForeign Minister.

Before becoming head of the department in March 2018, Vuserved as permanent deputy head of the APEC National Secretariat 2017.

Accordingly, the Foreign Ministry now has six deputyministers, namely Bui Thanh Son, Le Hoai Trung, Nguyen Quoc Cuong, Nguyen QuocDung, To Anh Dung and Nguyen Minh Vu.

Under Decision No.1195/QD-TTg, the PM appointed Le VanThanh, member of the Quang Nam provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman ofthe provincial People’s Committee, as Deputy Minister of Labour, Invalids andSocial Affairs.

Thanh, 55, previously held the post of head of the Ministryof Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs’ Department of Social Vices Prevention andCombat and was elected as Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee inMay 2014./.
