Hanoi, (VNA) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on October 17 sent a congratulatorymessage to his New Zealand counterpart Jacinda Ardern over the victory of theNew Zealand Labour Party and PM Ardern herself in the general election held onthe same day.
Warmlycongratulating the Labour Party and PM Ardern, Phuc praised the success of theLabour Party and Ardern in promoting socio-economic development and respondingto crises and the COVID-19 in the last tenure. He expressed a belief that theNew Zealand Government under the leadership of PM Ardern will continue to reapfurther achievements.
The Vietnamese PM alsoaffirmed that Vietnam will continue to work closely with the New ZealandGovernment and PM Ardern to further develop the bilateral strategic partnershipin the time ahead./.
