Quang Nam launches big tourism stimulation programme

Quang Nam (VNA) – The central province of QuangNam launched the tourism stimulation programme 2024 themed “Quang Nam – Green HeritageRegion” at a press conference on April 16.
Taking place from May to November, the programme aims tolure domestic and international visitors to Quang Nam, while promoting theimage of Quang Nam green tourism, according to the provincial People’s Committee.
The programme will be divided into two phases, with the firsttaking place from May to August offering various unique tourism products, highquality services and attractive promotions.
Particularly, the locality offers a three-day-and-two-nighttours to major tourist attractions of the province such as Hoi An city, My Son Sanctuary,Cu Lao Cham - Hoi An World Biosphere Reserve, Vinwonder Nam Hoi An, Bay MauCoconut Forest, Pomu Heritage Forest, Phu Ninh Lake Ecotourism Area, and DongGiang Heaven Gate Ecotourism Area, along with high-end tourism packages andsummer camps for children.
In the second phase from September to November, the provincewill highlight the beauty of the rice ripening season and related festivals, aswell as Hoi An in flood season, while offering sharp service discounts fortourists.
The total promotion value of the programme is about 9.5billion VND (374,754 USD). At the press conference, Quang Nam signed cooperation agreementson tourism development with a number of enterprises, including Vietnam Railwaysand Heineken Vietnam./.
My Son Sanctuary - a UNESCO-recognised World Cultural Heritage Site in the central province of Quang Nam - welcomed an estimated 123,000 visitors, including 110,000 foreigners, in the first quarter of this year, over 50% higher than that of the same period last year.
