Reference exchange rate goes down 2 VND

The State Bank of Vietnam set the reference VND/USD exchange rate at 22,191 VND per USD on the morning of January 23, down 2 VND from the end of last week.

Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the reference VND/USD exchange rate at 22,191VND per USD on the morning of January 23, down 2 VND from the end of last week.

With the current +/- 3 percent VND/USD trading band, the ceiling exchange rateis 22,856 VND per USD and the floor rate is 21,526 VND per USD.

Meanwhile, Vietcombank bought one USD for 22,530 VND, and sold one USD for 22,600VND, unchanged from the end of last week. 

BIDV listed the buying rate at 22,520 VND per USD and the selling rate at 22,590VND per USD, down 10 VND.

In Eximbank, the buying rate was 22,510 VND per USD, while the selling rate wasset at 22,600 VND per USD, down 10 VND.-VNA
