India and Can Tho city agreed to enhance multi-sector bilateral cooperation at a working session on June 17 between municipal leaders and Indian Ambassador to Vietnam Sandeep Arya.
Can Tho hopes to continue receiving assistance and cooperation from ActionAid for programmes and projects in areas such as climate change adaptation, education, support for vulnerable groups, and plastic waste reduction.
The planned merger of Can Tho with the neighbouring provinces of Hau Giang and Soc Trang is expected to open up new opportunities and unlock local potential, a municipal official has said.
Over the past 20 years, the hospital has achieved many accomplishments, elevating healthcare quality and healthcare services for locals in the Mekong Delta region to regional and international standards.

To achieve at least 8% growth this year and double-digit growth thereafter, PM Pham Minh Chinh committed to realising the Politburo’s resolutions on advancing sci-tech, innovation, digital transformation, and global integration.
Can Tho is preparing to break ground on a 300-ha secondary factory in the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP). Therefore, the city is eager to attract investments, especially from Singapore.
