ꦆ One hundred students from across the region took part in an international scientific forum that ended in Ho Chi Minh City on April 9.

The participants include 35 students from Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, China, Japan, Singapore and Thailand.
Staring on April 6, their forum revolved around topics such as creativity and scientific research, voluntary work, occupations and star-ups, climate change and environmental protection. Participants exchanged experience and put forth initiatives to deal with regional issues, thus enhancing solidarity between students in the region.
Leader of the municipal student association Lam Dinh Thang said these topics are practical to the development of the southern city. According to him, the organisation board will work to apply suitable proposals collected from the forum in addressing local problems. They will disseminate scientific research experience learned from regional students to improve the activity in Vietnam. As part of the forum, foreign delegates toured historical sites and science and technology centres in Ho Chi Minh City.-VNA
