A seminar took place in Hanoi on May 11, assessing the value of the legacy left by late President Ho Chi Minh.

Hanoi (VNA) – A seminar took place in Hanoi on May11, assessing the value of the legacy left by late President Ho Chi Minh.

In his opening remarks, Vice President of the Ho Chi MinhNational Academy of Politics (HCMA) Le Van Loi said it is a practical activity to markthe leader’s 133rd birth anniversary (May 19, 1890 – 2023), paying respect tohim and honouring his significant contributions.

The event received more than 40 papers and reports from experts and scientists.

At the seminar, participants analysed and clarified thesustainable values of Ho Chi Minh's legacy to the Vietnamese and the worldrevolutions, thereby affirming its value in the country’s struggle fornational independence, socialism building, and current reforms.

They also underscored the importance of the collection andpreservation of as well as communications on artifacts,documents and relics related to the founder of the modern Vietnam.

The same day, an exhibition featuring more than 200photos and document about the late President in his role as a great leader, aman of great culture, and a symbol of friendship around the world was held atthe Ho Chi Minh square in Vinh city in his home province of Nghe An. The event lasts until May 19./.
