Singapore (VNA)𒅌 - The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) has rolled out a new electronic service (e-Service) platform aimed at enhancing the transparency and accessibility of laboratory test results for imported fresh and chilled fruits and vegetables.

Set to be operational from May 1, the digital platform is designed to assist Singapore-based importers in accessing laboratory testing outcomes conducted by Singapore Customs on fresh produce consignments.
According to SFA, the platform will be accessible exclusively to locally registered businesses via Singpass and Corppass. The system permits companies to retrieve only their own test results, safeguarding data privacy. Overseas exporters, including those from Vietnam, are advised to coordinate with their Singapore import partners for relevant updates on shipment testing. The Vietnam Trade Office in Singapore views this initiative as a positive step toward encouraging digital adoption among local businesses and importers in line with Singapore’s broader e-government agenda. Vietnamese exporters of fresh and chilled fruits and vegetables are encouraged to stay abreast of the new system, maintain close communication with their Singaporean counterparts, and ensure timely response to inspection results to avoid disruptions in distribution./.
