Singapore: Two RoK media staff arrested at DPRK Ambassador’s home

Two media staff of the Republic of Korea (RoK) were arrested for trespassing at the residence of the Ambassador of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) in Singapore, local police announced on June 8.

Singapore (VNA) – Two media staff of the Republic of Korea (RoK) werearrested for trespassing at the residence of the Ambassador of the DemocraticPeople’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) in Singapore, local police announced on June8.

According to the police, the men nabbed on June 7 were from the KoreanBroadcasting System News (KBS) while two others are under investigation.

In a Facebook post, the Singaporean police said they were informed of theillegal trespass and the two RoK men, who were representing the KoreanBroadcasting System News were arrested.

Under Singaporean law, criminal trespass may be punished with imprisonment ofup to three months, a fine of up to 1,122 USD, or both.-VNA
