Hanoi (VNA) – Newly-elected State President To Lam on May 23 had a meeting with officials and staff of the Presidential Office, during which he expressed his hope that the office will continue to show strong performance and provide him with helpful advice and proposals, enabling him to complete all tasks assigned by the Party, State, and people.

The leader expressed his delight that over the past 75 years of formation and development, the office has seen increasingly close and effective coordination with ministries, sectors, and localities, especially the Offices of the Party Central Committee, Party General Secretary, Government and National Assembly.

He highlighted the achievements that the country has reaped through the nearly 40 years of “Doi Moi” (Renewal) across all fields, including economy, society, defence, security, external relations and international integration.

In order to continue these achievements and successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the leader underlined the need for joint efforts of the whole political system, including the Presidential Office, requiring all off its officials and staff of to work harder and more creatively with a higher sense of responsibility.

🐷 The President expressed his hope and belief that the Presidential Office will continue to promote its sound tradition, striving to overcome all difficulties, gaining more achievements and contributing to the national construction and defence./.
