State President, experts discuss summary report on issues in building law-governed state
State President Nguyen Xuan Phuc had a meeting with the compilation group, experts, and scientists on April 2 to look into a report summarising opinions for a project on making a strategy for the building and completion of the law-governed socialist state of Vietnam by 2030, with a vision to 2045.

The summary report, which will serveas a basis for making the first draft of the strategy, covers the fundamentaltheoretical issues on the building and completion of a law-governed socialiststate, the Ho Chi Minh ideology, the Party and State’s viewpoints, along withthe formation, facts, principles, targets, reforms, breakthroughs, orientations,tasks, and solutions for the state building and completion from now to 2030,with a vision to 2045.
President Phuc, who is also head of the steering committee for the strategymaking project, said it’s now the most important stage of this project.
He repeated the consistent requirementthat the project’s content must match today’s awareness and be accepted by theParty, recognised by the world, and easy for application and implementation./.
A national conference was held in central Da Nang city on January 17 to look into the continued promotion of judicial reform to serve the building and completion of a law-governed socialist state of Vietnam.
Building a society in which development is truly for the sake of the people is a core and consistent issue in the writings by Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in his recently published book titled “Some theoretical and practical issues on socialism and the path towards socialism in Vietnam”.
