Tech giants to attend Vietnam International Innovation Expo

Hanoi (VNA) – The Vietnam International Innovation Expo 2023 (VIIE2023) will open at the Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park in Hanoi on October 28, accordingto the National Innovation Centre (NIC).
The five-day event will see the participation of many techgiants such as SK, Samsung, Google, Meta, Signify, Intel, VISA, Viettel, FPT,Thaco, VNPT, Sovico, VNG, and MoMo.
The expo will showcase innovative solutions, initiatives,and hi-tech products in eight priority fields, namely smart factory, smartcity, digital content, network security, environmental technology,semiconductor industry, hydrogen, and health.
It will also provide innovative technology knowledge,update attendees with the current status and trends of domestic andinternational technology development through symposiums.
Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Tran Duy Dongsaid that the VIIE 2023 will be a special event with great significance for theinnovation ecosystem in particular, and for the Vietnamese business environmentin general.
The ministry wishes to accompany ecosystem entities in theinnovation journey, and through the National Innovation Centre to turn resourcesinto opportunities, and bring about benefits for businesses and communities, headded./.
A forum discussing digital and green transformation for sustainable development was hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology in the northern province of Quang Ninh on September 30 in the framework of the Techconnect and Innovation Vietnam 2023.
Vietnam has moved up two places in the Global Innovation Index (GII) in 2023, ranking 46th out of 132 countries and territories, according to a GII report released by the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO).
