HCM City (VNA) - Techconnect andInnovation Vietnam 2022 kicked off in Ho Chi Minh City on December 7, featuringan array of activities like technological consulting sessions, forums andseminars.

In his opening remarks, Minister of Science andTechnology Huynh Thanh Dat said through the event, his ministry hopes topromote the application, transfer and renovation of technology in businesses inthe Southeastern and Southwestern regions.

New technologies and products will be introduced inorder to boost technological demand and supply connectivity between localitiesand economic zones, and domestic and foreign partners, he added.

The minister stressed that the Government has issuedpolicies with new regulations, established organisations, and launchedprogrammes and activities to push ahead with innovations.

Within the framework of Techconnect and InnovationVietnam 2022, to last until December 10, there will be two international exhibitionswith 250 booths, one on equipment and technology in agro-forestry-fishery(Vietnam Growtech 2022) and another on food, beverages and food processingtechnology (Vietnam Foodtech 2022)./.
