Technology fair opens in Dong Nai

A fair for technology, equipment and trade in the southeast region, known as Techmart Dong Nai 2015, was launched in Bien Hoa city in southern Dong Nai province on March 19.
A fair for technology, equipment and trade in the southeast region,known as Techmart Dong Nai 2015, was launched in Bien Hoa city insouthern Dong Nai province on March 19.

Techmart Dong Nai seeks to develop the technology market in the regionand improve linkages between research, training, manufacturing andtrading to facilitate technological innovation and commercialisation.

This year’s fair features 275 booths from 200organisations, 125 of which are from the departments of science andtechnology of Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Ba Ria– Vung Tau, Binh Thuan and Tay Ninh.

Otherlocalities also made appearances, including northern Hanoi and Can Thocity and Tien Giang province from the Mekong Delta.

Products in mechanical engineering, electronics, food processing,biotechnology, medicinal chemistry and hi-tech agriculture are ondisplay at the event.

The fair creates aplatform for high-tech product promotion and technology transfer, saidDirector of Dong Nai’s Department of Science and Technology Vo Van Sang.
